Three Million Dollars !? Can’t we just open our own flyshop? – Mark Raisler

Owners Mark Raisler and John Arnold incorporated Headhunters, LLC in the fall of 2007 and opened the doors the following spring. The goal was to bring some “fun” back into a sport that had seen itself become more exclusive, stagnant and insulated. The community spirit that surrounds Headhunters is a result of their vision and our teams commitment to customer service and putting the fun back in fly fishing.

Headhunters has quickly gained a huge following. Known for it’s outstanding guide staff, media and web presence, exceptional customer service and fun atmosphere, Headhunters maintains that your success is our success.

Mark Raisler

A longtime resident of Craig, MT, Mark grew up in Mt. Vernon, WA and has spent most of his adult life in pursuit of trout and skiing. Mark guides full time and is a talented photographer, and is the primary contributor to our blog, “The Headhunter”. Mark is our resident casting guru, and is a fly line fanatic. When not leading our talented guide staff, you can find him running around the Missouri River with his Nikon, or at the computer posting the latest news, images and opinions.

John Arnold

John left his hometown of Tacoma, WA after high school and has been a fly fishing guide for more than 25 years. He now spends most of his time in the store or on the computer designing and managing our websites. He is our resident videographer as well as sometimes blogger, and does much of the “behind the scenes” stuff at Headhunters. When not at work, you can find John chasing Steelhead or fishing the Mo’ with his wife Julie and daughter Adair.

Julie Arnold

Julie grew up in Twin Falls, ID and met John at a fly fishing clinic at their former home of Ketchum, ID. She is the “brains” of the operation, in charge of bookings, accounting and lodging. Basically anything that has to do with math. Julie is an avid angler, and has a few long ago guide days under her belt. John & Julie misspent most of their 20′s and 30′s chasing Steelhead in BC, WA and ID. You can find Julie around the shop most of the time, often with her daughter Adair on her heels.

Sara Roholt

A native of Meridian, ID, Sara grew up in a fishing family and has never lost the fire. She is one of the most avid anglers on the Missouri, and if she’s not working or cooling off in Joe’s Bar, she’s probably out on the river. Sara is our store manager and buyer, and is heading into her 5th season with us. Along with Julie, she can take care of any booking needs you have. Whether at work or play, Sara is at full throttle. Ben McNinch

Ben grew up near Houghton on Michigan’s Upper Pennisula and is going into his 4th season at Headhunters. Ben is our resident “Flyentologist”, and is on charge of our tremendous fly selection. A skilled tier himself, Ben has developed some great patterns for Montana trout waters. Like all of our core staff, Ben can help you with any and all questions pertaining to the Missouri River or the Craig area.

Caleb Garret

Caleb grew up in Atlanta, GA, and has recently graduated form the University of Montana. 2012 was his first summer at Headhunters, and Caleb proved to be an excellent addition to our staff. Like most of the team, he’s either at work or on the river. Caleb is an excellent photographer, and you can see some of his images on our blog, to which he also contributes.
