Boats & Shuttles

Shuttles

One of the most common services on the River. Everyone has a drift boat, raft, pontoon boat or kayak these days, and you’re going to need a shuttle to get your car to the take out. No problem. We operate shuttles all year on the Missouri River from Holter Dam to Cascade. We do shuttles for Dearborn River floaters as well. Just come in the shop on your way to the river, fill out a form and get out on the water. We’ll move your rig while you’re fishing.

Shuttles run from $22 – $35.

Drift Boat Rentals

Headhunters is the only place you can rent Adipose drift boats on the Missouri River. The Adipose Flow Skiff is designed for the Missouri River. It’s big and roomy, super stable, quiet and easy to row. Most of our guides row these boats and won’t use anything else. Our rental boats come complete with oars, anchor, net and PFD’s. Rentals during July and August should be reserved well in advance.

  • How It Works
  • We drop off the boat for you wherever you would like between Holter Dam and Pelican Point. While you’re out enjoying the Missouri River, we shuttle your vehicle to the take out. When you’re done with the day, just leave the boat securely anchored at the ramp and we’ll pick it up. No need to wait for us, just get in your car and go.

Diablo Kayak Rentals

Headhunters also rents and sells Diablo Paddlesports Chupacabra and Adios sit-on-top/stand-up-paddleboard (SOT/SUP) hybrid kayaks for those looking to go out on their own. While you can fish out of these, we recommend them for those who like to cruise in stealth mode from wade spot to wade spot. These things are super fun just to paddle, and are a great way to explore some lesser fished spots. You haul them yourself, so make sure and have a truck or roof rack with appropriate straps. Check out this article and video showing the Chupacabra in action on the Missouri River.
