Water levels should be stable this weekend. Currently 7070 at time of writing Thursday night. Don’t think they will be coming up today. But not really sure. No faxogram from the DNRC.

Looks like good fishing weather this weekend. Some SW wind and partly cloudy and sunny and such.

A few fish up here and there. The streamer bite for most has gone away. The nymphers are into the worm and sow bug.

That’s about it from us in Craig. Izaak’s for dinner. Joe’s for late night. Headhunters for coffee beginning daily and 7am.

Enjoy the weekend!

  • Did it kill the dry fly fishing too?

  • seems like it. on Tuesday no wind (to speak of), lots of bugs (both kinds) but NO fish heads (or backs) to be seen!

Any time the flows go up like they did, the fishing gets a little slower. But, it usually picks up soon after the flows stabilize which is where we’re at now. I’d expect it to start fishing well again soon!
