HEADHUNTERS SAYS Scientific Anglers take on the “sinking leader” is a little different than the others. These “poly” leaders have a more durable coating and are significantly stiffer than other coated leaders on the market. The mono core does not protrude from the tip, and you place a perfection loop right on the end to loop your tippet to. We like these a lot. The recent addition of 7′ Sonar leaders are very popular, especially with lighter 2 and 3 weight Spey rods.
