Roaming Montana

Getting out and roaming Montana this week.

Good friend EBitty and myself roaming around and fishing a bit.

Love the Missouri River here in Craig but always good to more of Montana than just the canyon.

And so we did.

A good reminder that there is more to Montana fishing than our own backyard. When you are in this neighborhood you too can add on to your trip. While the Yellowstone is off limits there is more than enough fishing opportunities to keep you busy on your trip here.

Or if you live in the promise land full-time you can engage in a staycation. Lots of Montanan’s travel and enjoy our own state, often.

Summer is winding down as we ready ourselves for fall on the MO. Are you ready?

We certainly are. BWO’s, Callibaeitis, streamers, October Caddis, swinging, short leashing your ass off? All of those fun activities we are getting excited about!

A remainder today to get out wherever you are. Discover your own state, a new creek, try a high mountain lake, or take a kid fishing. School is starting but your kids have weekends off. Enjoy this time of year and go outside! And go enjoy!
