$500 Dodge vs. $500 65qt YETI

Who do I love more? My $500 ’92 Dodge 250 or my 65qt White YETI with the boss seat cushion?

Hard to believe that the new work truck, with a few moving parts, costs less than the less than 10 part YETI.

True.

But, which will last longer. The cooler or that sweet ride?

The ’92 Dodge already has 107, 048 ridden hard and hung up wet miles and the ’12 YETI a scant 193 days on it’s sun baked yet sheltered and actually quite pampered youthful days.

I rock the 45qt tan in the truck bed for an off the Headhunters Porch version of the never ending and now quite famous 105qt that always has ice and beverages inside.

My girlfriend Danielle the very clean and well taken care of 35qt in her Subaru.

John his 65qt in the bed of his truck, EBitty a 65qt in his truck, Pope a 25qt for a few cold ones too…other than gas and oil, what else do you need?

What size YETI resides in your fishing truck?

Love my Dodge 250 and my 65 qt YETI, but who will be with me longer?

Probably the YETI. But…but it has a lot of catching up to do…

PS: The YETI with seat cushion is actually $469.98, so it is cheaper. Yet, still built stronger, holds ice longer!

Admin Note: Shop closed @ 6pm this evening for an Employee Bash . Julie’s BDay, Travis and Andy’s going home for the year party too…

  1. We at fishing porn love our Yeti’s!!! Clet has a 65 qt and a 25 qt Roadie that has keept ice for over a week!! The Roadie also kept a rolled leg of lamb frozen for three days while on an extended float trip on the PM here in MI! Pk has a 45 qt is stashes in the mothership and is awaiting his 65qt. Thanks for all the reports from the Trout Mecca of the world!! At one time or another we were all living and or working in the area!! Take care from the Crew at Fishingporn.

ps a sr. member (Clet’s parents) from the crew is headed your way in late August with some swag. for all of you.

  2. The dodge can last just as long as the Yeti but will cost a hell of a lot more to maintain. Please extend happy birthday best wishes to Julie. Remember statistics show that those with the most birthdays live the longest. Also please let Andy know I am glad we met and had the chance to fish together. Best wishes to both Andy and Travis with whatever lies down river for them. Probably whiskey, women, and fishing. Dam if only to be young again. What the hell I still have 2 out of three. Caught my gal! I also have been wanting to thank you guys for all the free food at the BBQ’s. It has to be a significant expense and I know its a pain in the @## to do at times. Just know your efforts are noted & appreciated.
