Spring Special Guide Trips

All inclusive guide trip includes all flies, a fantastic lunch, a fresh guide coming off of the non-guiding season overweight and happy, and insights on Montana’s Missouri River.

The spring midge hatch is in full swing and will only get better. Any overcast days will bring lots of trout to the surface. Will you be here for the cloud cover. Will you bring some cloud cover? Please do.

The end of April is almost out of the equation. Call for late April avail. We may be able to squeak you in somewhere. The middle of the month is just fine. And March? March is filling. We are as surprised as you are with this spring fishing.

The dry fly bite is really quite awesome but not everybody is focused on the dry fly? Why? Some like to catch on our rested Rainbows with the nymphs they so love.

Streamer anglers crawl out of the woodwork too in March. Scumliner states that more big browns are caught in the spring than in the fall. I believe him. What a great way to stretch out your arm by casting til the cows, or browns come home.

Discounted lodging is also available at The Craig Trout Camp. The popular Rainbow and Brown Cabins are $100/night (occupancy 2), the Sutton Place is $200 (occupancy 4), and the Craig House is $350/night (occupancy 6).
