We, Adipose Boatworks et al, are really excited to host the popular Drift Boat 101 Clinic again this year. Last year we had to cancel due to COVID, but believe that we can hold the clinic and keep everyone safe.
If you are participating PLEASE BRING YOUR MASK and dress accordingly for the outside weather. Learn how to handle a drift boat safely and raise money for the veterans program Mending Waters Montana.
Thanks to Izaak’s Restaurant for providing the pace for us to handle the clinic and we will also lunch in front of Izaaks’ That is the meeting spot in Craig. You cannot miss it. Exit 234, and drive till you see Izaak’s and find a parking spot. Thanks again Izaak’s for hosting and feeding the anglers of Craig Montana.
We will cover everything from transport, launching/loading, rowing, anchoring, fishing from a drift boat and river etiquette. There will be off the water and on the water instruction, with the opportunity to row a drift boat with a qualified instructor.
There is no cost for the clinic but we highly encourage a donation to Mending Waters Montana. They do a ton of great stuff for veterans all over Montana and they can’t do it without our support.
Everything will be provided including lunch. We will have raffle tickets available to win a variety of things; including rod and reel combos, Yeti products, free drift boat rentals and other fishing prizes!
