Izaak’s Opening Thursday March 24th
Yesterday was the first day of spring. Another annual event that we look forward to is Izaak’s Opening Thursday March 24th!
I spoke with Matt the Sous Chef this last weekend while he was finishing up the menu with Chef John. Lots of changes this year.
Small plates make a big move on this menu with some of the fan favorites returning yet again.
I for one am excited to taste what John, Matt, and the rest of the Izaak’s gang has to offer beginning Thursday March 24th.
Izaak’s will be open everyday but Mondays thru the month of April and serving hungry Missouri River anglers daily May thru October.
As we get the entirety of the Izaak’s menu updates on Thursday we will pass them on to you. Also looking forward to seeing he Montana craft beer line-up John has in store for us. The Margherita’s that they shake up at Izaak’s have bec0me a favorite for many of the Missouri River visitors the past few years and the Tequila is filling the bar shelves as I write this blog.
The wings make a return again. Thank goodness! Ribs, and Izaak’s Famous Pulled Pork gets an update with a variation in the Mustard sauce. I think the Mac and Cheese is gone, but the Nacho’s are receiving a facelift.
Chicken and Waffles are rumored to be in the works…the Calamari has made the cut too. Oh so tender and delightful!
