Headhunters Fly Shop Christmas Party last night. A great time had by all.
We ate well too. A taco bar with 20+ side items to make your taco great. Carnita’s and Beef Barbacoa. Yum. Corona’s too.
We finished up with Headhunters Fly Shop first Free Trout Spey session Saturday and Sunday. Fun times, good weather, and lots of new spey casters. Most everyone we hosted this weekend were new to the Trout Spey game.
So they left pretty jazzed. And will bring some of the spey spirit to a river near you.
The water temps are stable, the fishing is good, and not too many folks on the water.
The swing bite is on. Good hook-ups even at the clinic. Standing in one place casting. So, that is a sign that the fish are in the right mood.
Holiday Shopping is in full swing too. Folks stopping by to fill their stockings, and their friends stockings, and maybe getting a few items for themselves. We have a wide selection of rods, reels, lines, and soft goods for your Christmas buying needs. Call us up and get something in the mail too. The HH gang is ready for action.
A few cabin rentals in the weekend periods, feel free to stay a week if you need. Shoot a few ducks , fish, and finish at Shotgun Annie’s for an evening bite with a beer or two.
What do you have planned for the remainder of the month. You have a couple weeks of good fishing ahead of you. Shoot, maybe even a month. We had a spritzing of snow last night with a couple inches on the ground today. The river was quiet. Nice. Not too cold either. And no wind to speak of. Two days in a row!?
