Julie Arnold

Operations & Bookings

Julie Arnold has been doing all of the behind the scenes work at Headhunters since day one. She is in charge of both bookings and the books, and has put together the largest lodging & accommodations service on the river. If you need to book a trip or lodging, she’s the one to talk to. Julie has fished extensively for trout and Steelhead in the west, as well as New Zealand and the Florida Keys. When not working, she can be found hanging out with her daughter Adair.

Sara Roholt

Manger / Soft Goods Buyer

Sara Roholt has been with Headhunters since almost the beginning, and has been our store manager for several years. She is also our soft goods buyer, and can help you with any question you might have regarding gear, lodging or guided trips. Sara works here because fishing and hunting are her passion, and when not at work, you find her looking for big trout in secret stashes, swinging a two-hander, or chasing upland birds while hunting over her pointers.

Ben McNinch

Manager / Fly Buyer

Ben McNinch – ‘Ninch’ to his friends – is our resident fly guru, and is in charge of the huge fly selection at Headhunters, as well as all of our technical accessories. As one of our managers, Ben can help you with any booking or equipments needs, as well as special fly orders. He’s also been known to tie custom orders for some folks. Ninch can be found fishing all year long, and you’ll often find him swinging a light spey rod during the off season.

Jim Pompati

Shuttle Crew Chief

Jim Pompati has been moving vehicles for anglers on the Missouri River for longer than most guides have been fishing here. His devotion, hard work and sense of humor are much appreciated around the shop. Jim is in charge of one of the toughest fly shop jobs in Craig, and he keeps things running as smoothly as possible during the busiest times. When not moving your rig, Jim can be found ridding local ranches of varmits.

Dwayne “Dewey” Sutphin

Shop Staff

“Dewey” has been on the Headhunters team for the last 2 years. A former professional Firefighter from Great Falls, Dewey found his second career in the fly fishing business, and is a wealth of local knowledge. He has fished just about everywhere in the region.

Braden Lewis

Shop Staff

Braden is entering his second season on the Headhunters team. along with his friendly demeanor, he brings along a degree in biology and a devotion to learning. If you can’t find him around the shop, you can probably find him surveying the insect population of the Missouri River.
