Lots of fishing media out there these days. We recognize that we are part of the problem, not the solution. We produce entertainment, information, education and customer service messages daily.
So do many out there. Too many? That is for you to answer for yourself.
Here is the reason for this Sunday post. One quote below…
If you wanna be cool
do fishing media, at least be good at fishing!?
Wow. Please. For all of us. At least be good.
If you wanna be cool, be good. For the dignity of the sport. Please.

I see so many of the “Fishing shows” that feature really poor anglers.Too bad
Phone cameras should be banned. Too many fish out of the water.
My biggest pet peeve is when they feature fly fishing in truck commercials or in movies and the actors can’t cast and are 2 feet from each other!
This! They make virtually everything else look fairly authentic, from flying helicopters to heart surgery, but nobody bothers to make the fishing look real.
If you wanna be cool, you need to run on heavy heavy fuel.
