The water is falling for Dry Fly Season

Water Falling in July!

Water Falling in July!

We think.

Our latest guess is the middle of the month. Could happen much sooner but hesitate to guess as Mark has for the most part been wrong.

The water is falling at Toston as I write again this Sunday. Currently 11,700 cfs falling an average of 1000 cfs per day. The lake level is 1 1/2′ into flood pool. Barring any more rain storms we should see the river fall this coming week.

Or, as one fishing guide in downtown Craig said..maybe August.

Heading to the Blackfoot today to check out the Salmonfly hatch. Will report back to you folks Tuesday, or Wednesday after the weekly fly sale.
