Wild Trout: A Montana Fish Story

Wild Trout: A Montana Fish Story

A cool Montana film to watch this morning as the calendar turns a page.

Happy New Year!

Hope you are not nursing anything to severe today. If you are, turn back over and sleep it off.

At high noon in Craig we have the Annual Polar Bear Plunge. It will be damn cold, with air temps in the mid-teens, and snow falling from the sky.

Gonna be really quite frigid for the next week. At least for the coming week. Some daytime highs will not crawl above ZERO. Highs below zero. That is cold man. Definitely ice in your guides!

We will be in the store for most of it unless we call an audible and stay home for travel safety reasons. January kicks off the booking season and we are ready with our capable booking staff at the ready.

2016 was a fantastic year for us @ Headhunters in downtown Craig.  2017 will be more of the same. We will be celebrating our 10th year here on the Missouri River. We are so fortunate to be in the fly fishing game. Fun times, great staff, and the best customers in Montana and beyond.

We love to help anglers young and old, novice to expert, nymphers to dry fly fanatics.

Look for more entertainment this coming year from Headhunters. A return of our popular Advanced Fly Fishing School in the fall, a couple new world class fishing guides, lots more Trout Spey Education including the best in 2 handed products, 10th Annual Caddis Fest and BBQ Cook-Off, Browns and Brews Fest Labor Day Weekend, our Fan Favorite Spring Special $350 Guide Trips beginning March 15th, Blackfoot River Trips, BBQ’s, free casting lessons, Fly Tying Nights ,and much, much more from your favorite Missouri River fly shop.

Welcome to 2017! Plan it. Enjoy it. Fish it!
