Summer Foreshadowing

Long time Missouri River Guide /Outfitter Mike Niles fishing with long time Mo River angler Nick Peters a few years ago.

Nick began fishing here 25+ years ago. His sons became and are excellent dry fly anglers. His friends, still fishing with HH are all dry fly fanatics. They love the Mo in July.

Nick passed this past year. We missed him last year. We will miss him this year. A funny, full of shit, great fellow. Not afraid to wait and watch. Then present the fly. HE lied back licorice. Not afraid of a good time. Just the kind of person you want to share a boat with.

He is missed by his family and friends. And, even the fish.

Happy Sunday. We are dreaming of the summer months ahead.
