FLY LINES

You’ve spent 10 minutes getting into position without spooking him. When that riser is in front of you, you need to make sure all of the pieces are put together. We think the fly line is the most important piece. It needs to be matched to your rod, and designed with purpose. We’re not big believers in “all-purpose” fly lines. Whether you’re trying to drag a streamer slow across the bottom, pushing a big hopper out into the middle of the river, right-angle nymphing or presenting a PMD cripple to a bank hugging Brown, there’s a line that will do it best.
