missouri river fishing report July 30

Water flows are dropping to 3300cfs. Water temps 64.5F. Weather patterns show slightly below normal temperatures for the next 10 days. We do see some rainfall included. We like the rain. We like the forecast. Normally we see lower temps in August than July. July is historically the hottest month of the year. August is a bit cooler. September follows.Will we see Hoot Owl restrictions this calendar year? We don’t know. Only Mother Nature knows.

Practice catch and release techniques as we do have warm water in our Montana waters. Limit photos. Fish early, get off early.
