Happy Fall Friday

Happy Fall Friday to all of you anglers out there. Pretty nice here in central Montana with daily highs in the mid 70’s for the foreseeable future. Winds under 10mph for the whole period. A good time to be on the water.

Nymphing is the primary game duriing the afternoon session with the baby BWO’s emerging nearly Avery afternoon. Some slower mornings fishing the bobber rig. Some are blind fishing larger mayfly patterns with a dropper too. Some are stripping like mad I tell you. Lots of ways to get it done out there. Sometimes fish come to the net.

You can find a few on small Trico patterns in the am. Short window. Spooky trout. Rewarding experience.

Never forget the ant.

Quite busy in Craig this time of year. An August slumber turns towards the September press peaking in early October and coasting happily to Thanksgiving.
