Missouri RIver February Blues?
Do we have the blues here in central Montana this February? Sort of.
Fishing is good. Swingers, strippers, and nymphers out there daily.
A few dry fly ops as well. Early and late in the day.
While the fishing is good for the winter session, the outlook for the summer is concerning.
Are we concerned today? No, not yet. March and April bring lots of moisture. Historically. This year? Who knows. I personally do a snow dance every morning during my coffee period. Not enough snow on the ground as we write this blog. Lower and midlevel snowpacks are non-existent. High mountain snow is not at the level we need at this point.
The sun is shining again this morning. We see forecast air temps of 60F this week. Wow! Don your sun hat and we will see you here on the water.
