Blackfoot Fishing Report for the canyon reach. Fished it yesterday in the hard rain. Hard, hard rain for 90 minutes. Checked out the validity, once again, of the Skwala rain gear.

Fished a Spruce Moth with limited success. Fish a hopper with limited success. Fished.a Chubby with limited success. Kinda like fishing out there.
Did not see another person from 7am launch time til after noon in the lower end of the River Junction reach thru to Russell Gates.
And that was awesome. And that float was a success. For me and for my guest Jim.
What a cool place to float. To view eagles, osprey, other shore birds, fox, deer, elk, and so much more. Always worth the trip over the divide for us.
