Craig Bridge Closure April 13
The Missouri River Bridge in Craig will be closed for maintenance and safety improvements from APRIL 13 - APRIL 27. During this time, all vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be detoured to alternative routes. We’ve been here before in years past, and it’s pretty easy to make adjustments to your fishing and boating schedule. It easy enough to use the freeway to get to Wolf Creek and the Holter Dam or Wolf Creek Bridge boat ramps.
The most time consuming detour will be for those wanting to launch at Stickney, Spite Hill and the Dearborn boat ramps. This will require driving downstream to the Canyon Access at Exit 244, then take the frontage road back upstream. So plan for an additional 20 minutes of drive time if that’s where you’ll be headed to put in or take out. There’s is no mention whether floating under/past the Craig Bridge will be allowed, so our assumption for now is that you will be able to.
Lewis & Clark County will be holding a public informational meeting to discuss:
