Autumn on the calendar. Cooler days have given us hope! Higher daytime temps this coming week. No rain in sight. But all good as the water temp have not risen to the critical stage. Temps holding in the 65-66F range. All good man.

Nymphers liking the mornings. Zirdle bugs, crayfish patterns, buggers leading the top fly path. The bottom fly is a purple weight fly Zebra or a small dark PT pattern. Fishing good Dam to Pelican. Further if you desire.

Dry fly addicts like the morning session as well. ID you happen upon a Trico feeding fish, stop and cast. The period of the good stuff may last a short time. Somedays longer. But be on your A game for the morning and find the fish and capitalize on this sometimes short technical dry fly period. Spinners win the battle.
