monday on the mo June 9

Rainbow Image: Dave W.

All is well here in central Montana this Monday morning.

Flows at 4670cfs and water temps at 57F.

PMD’s and Caddis prevail. All dry flies in this arena relevant. Cripples, emergers, and spinners. Caddis spents, emergers, and maybe duns?

Nymphing has been terrific. HAs come out of the unrest we generally witness in the spring with moving water levels ups. nd down. The fish can be displaced from the unrest. Split shot or not. Your choice. Scuds, sows, PMD nymphs, Trico nymphs and more. Best Flies Under the Big Sky available at the shop open daily early.

We are in peak season here in Craig. The best dry fly fishing of the year for the next 6-7 weeks. See you at the shop open daily with shuttle services and the friendly fly shop staff you have come to love over the last 17years!
