Friday Foto Montana’s Missouri RIver Fishing Report

Snow and rain yesterday. Good stuff.

30’s for the temps this weekend. 84F last Tuesday. Spring weather for sure. A touch of snow again Sunday.

Enjoy the spring. Fishing quite good.

TGIF.

BWO fishing good. Dry fly ops in the rising fish locales. Midges as well. Clusters, singles, Adams, Cripples, emergers are all in play.

Nymphers shallower than normal this spring. Some without split shot. Sows and BWO subsurface patterns in the mix.

Fishing all reaches. Craig Bridge closure through the weekend at the very least. Maybe longer? Make a new plan if your old plan does not give with current conditions. Shuttle daily. We are shuttling to all locations and boat ramps. Shop open at 8 am daily.

Swingers fishing the Scandi System. Leeches and flash flies alike. This author fishing the flash with very good success the past couple days. Montana Intruder played well. Goldie, Skiddish Smolt in original Silver and the Brown/Yellow version quite good too. Flash.

Strippers good stuff too. Intermediate or dry lines for the most part. Some dredging a bit deeper.

Still some Redds out there. Some fish actively on them. Keep away and help keep/promote fish for the next generation.

New rods and reels and lines and c=killer flies in stock today. Shuttles daily. Guide trips. Lodging too. Love to chat about fishing. See us in Craig.
