Perfect Saturday

A flawless Saturday morning in Craig, with light to no wind, sunshine and blue skies. A bit a steam rising off the water this morning. Expect pretty good crowds this weekend, but not crazy as most fisheries in the region are fishable this morning. Small streams are generally open, and many are fishable.

Traffic was evenly dispersed from the Dam to Cascade yesterday, and it should remain so with clear water everywhere. A few of the ramps seemed very busy, but the river was not congested. Anglers were well spread out. The fact that all techniques and water types are in play makes it easy to find your own lane. No one is fishing late like in the old days, so you could start late and finish late and probably have the joint to yourself.
