Merry Christmas from Headhunters

Merry Christmas from Headhunters

Thankful for the past year. Thankful for you, our guests. Thankful for this great river.

Til we meet again, we love and appreciate the Headhunters out there.

Happy Holidays from all of us here in downtown Craig Montana.

We may be released from this current holiday stranglehold of cold weather as we turn the corner next week. Highs above freezing for a stretch post holiday. The shelf ice is real. Boat ramps if at all steep look sketchy at best. Slushy waters from above Craig somewhere. Super slushy as the waters look north of Stickney Creek and frozen all the way across in the Mid Canon reach. Damn cold and she shows it. Careful out there man.

Enjoy your family and friends this week. It truly is a special time of the year. See you Monday at the shop…

  • The Missouri is truly an incredible and unique tailwater system. Hoping good snows continue driving better flows with nice rains this summer. The MO needs a reprieve …… do the dance, as you say, for more water! Rivers like water ….. :))

  • Merry Christmas to all of you.and to your loved ones,…This is my short holiday message….The great mystery of ….why are we here? ….remains an enigma….on our pale blue dot of a planet.
The cosmos beckons us …yet we have just immersed our toes in the vast ocean of outer space.
The 13. 8 billion year old universe in which we all reside is inter-related in ways that we are just barely
    begining to understand.
The nitrogen in our DNA…the calcium in our teeth…. the iron in our blood…the carbon in our apple pies were
made in the interiors of exploding super nova collapsing stars.
We are all made of star stuff.
