Missouri River Monday Fishing Report 11.18.13

Slower this weekend on the Missouri River.

What will a Missouri River Monday bring? Probable slowness. On the river, slowness.

Not the fishing part. The people part. Maybe the fishing part too. Til the afternoon., then it will pop!

Supposed to be real windy today. Here is what NOAA says:

Monday: Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of snow showers. Windy. Highs 40 to 50…35 to 40 in the mountains. Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph…decreasing to 5 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Gusts up to 50 mph.

The trout are just fine. The water temps are falling towards the 40F mark. Not there yet but we are coming closer daily.

The flows are and will be near the 3K mark for the remainder of the year. Into the new year as well.

Flies rising to the top are any midge, smallish PT, anything with a bright orange or pink bead attached to it, smaller black streamers, and midge cluster stuff. The BWO is still in the house and will be until about Thanksgiving. So cripples and emergers are something you would have in your box daily.

Shop open daily. Demo boats have been out this last week as some are getting on board with the boys @ Adipose Boatworks. A few new boats out, and some making the final decision for interior design. Also Demo Rods out this last weekend too. A batch of 2 Handers is ready to go. Thomas & Thomas, a couple SAGE Method, ECHO’s, Orvis, and some others too! Come in anytime to give it s whack.

See you any daylight hour, anyday of the week for free coffee, shuttles, demo’s, Christmas Gifts…
