Streamer anglers not doing to well. You can toss it if you find yourself wanting to pound your head against the bow of your drifter because you are bleary eyed from staring at the bobber. We get it. Why not toss those big and chunky fine looking articulated streamers for a spell. Big fish come to big flies. We have the streamers for your fishing pleasure here at Headhunters.

Decent midge and BWO hatches. Not great dry fly fishing. You can find them. You gotta stay focused. So the answer is that you may find some fish rising. But the opportunities for the dry fly bite decrease with the rising water. Above 13K it gets pretty thin.

The weather ahead of us will bring 55F to 80F with sun, rain, wind…no snow. Pack your sunscreen and hip boots. Some nighttime lows dipping into the higher 30’s. Snow will continue to come off the hills and mountains this coming week.
