A Return to Spring Weather

A return. to spring this week as we see the high temps not reaching much into the 60’s. Rainfall expected beyond 2” as well.

Springtime weather. Summertime bugs.

Trico’s in play. PMD’s on the plate. Caddis per usual.

Not a hint of the splash and giggle gang yet as the weather is not yet palatable to show off your bikini body.

Wet and wild the coming week.

River traffic waning a bit. Been as busy on the water as we have witnessed here in Craig. Many of the out of region anglers drifting back to their home waters. July once the busiest months is now commonly falling in behind May and June.

Will the warm weather return? Mother Nature is the one to query. July is historically the warmest month on record. August comes in second. June is the wettest at annual precipitation at 2.62 inches.

For now. Rain. Bring it. Bring your ranger. Or purchase at your favorite fly shop.
