We believe this is one of those rods that is valued, by the caster, well above its pricing level. Love the 9’ 6wt for streamer applications. That is where the 6 weight lives in my collection of Sage rods. Have been tossing it daily this fall with a 6wt intermediate line attached to it. In late September and early October I coupled the Sonic with RIO Intermediate/Type 3/Type 5 sink tip. Boy that was a treat. A rod that can handle a fly line of that a caliber has a permanent spot in my rotation.
