A warm one today as air temps reach the mid 70’s. A bit warm for this period of spring. Or winter. Or whatever this is.

Water flows are holding at 3K with water temp reaching 38F. Higher water temp in the spring means more active fish.

The streamer game is pretty good. Several great reports this past week. Flash is the theme. Brown, yellow, white, silver are pretty damn hot!

The nymphing has been real good too.Totally.

Midge out there. If you stumble on a couple fish finding the midge delicious, toss a fly out there. The Headhunter Fly Line is the key to dry fly successes here locally!

Getting pretty excited about the year ahead. Want more water, we do. This last shot in the arm was good, but didi not get us up to par.

If you are looking for a lodging option here in Craig we always recommend the Craig Trout Camp here right on site in downtown Craig in the center of all the action. Call today for reservation at 406-235-3447 ext 1.

Open daily for all your trout fishing needs. Stop in and say hello when in the neighborhood!
