Curt Gowdy of “The American Sportsman”, and likewise Gadabout Gaddis of “The Flying Fisherman”…As a young boy, both of these guys whet my imagination not just for fly fishing, but for the possibilities of fly fishing adventures. To this day, the adventure, the new, the unknown, are still what it’s about for me…
Raw rugged action! Glass rods and click reels – classic. It’s never the rod or reel that matters. The best part was the hand tied hair flies – simple, far from perfect but killers. Thanks Mark!
