Last week streamers were our go to method on the Mo. Morning and evening lots of hits and fish on small patterns like thin mints, olive buggers, pig pen leech, etc. either swung on a spey rod or stripped on a 6 or 7 wt with a sink tip. All good!
Yes it was Chuck. I think my buddy and I were the lone swingers on the entire river for last week. It was awesome. Trout Spey capitol of the West..? Not last week. Maybe October…maybe November. Maybe I should come back over in late October.
