Tuesday Top 10 Missouri River Hits
- River fishing well. Day 1 of the PMD hatch was yesterday. A good day. More to come.
- River flows 6230cfs. Not below 6K. Good wade fish access. Good times.
- River temps 54+ Rising and falling daily. In the bug hatching zone. Fer sure fellas.
- The fish were eating duns. The PMD duns. That only happens in the early period of the hatch.
- It may take a week or so to get the bugs blanketing. Or a couple days. Or, today.
- Squeeky Oar Lock is 50 today. So let’s hope it’s today. Hooray!
- Faster water for the nymph gang. Meaning, like the fastest mid depth water you can find. And, they’re in there. PMD, Caddis, Freshwater Crustaceans, Worms. Try purple nymphs. Or brown.
- The traffic spread throughout the river system.
- The Dearborn may be fishable inside of the this week.
- Be good out there. Be nice. Don’t be a dumbass. Don’t do shit to others that you would not want them to do to you. Be smart. Set a good example, for others to learn from. It’ll go over better that way man. And, it’s better for your constitution.

50. WOW! Mark, as I was told along time ago…you are on the downslope of life. THEY, whoever they are, have just increased the slippery slope. Then they added bacon grease.
